Festival Scholarship

The B.C. National Theatre School DramaFest Scholarship acknowledges and honours exceptional talent and commitment to theatre by students participating in the B.C. National Theatre School DramaFest. This $1000 scholarship provides financial assistance towards tuition fees for the program in which the recipient enrolls.

This scholarship is open to any Grade 12 student who is attending the B.C. National Theatre School DramaFest as performing or non-performing delegate. The student must also be pursuing post-secondary theatre education in September of the following year.

Wayne Fairhead Spirit of the Festival Award

This award may be given to a student or a school who best exemplifies the positive spirit of the festival.

DramaFest Awards

Each year the Festival Adjudicator acknowledges outstanding work by individuals or groups in numerous categories, such as Outstanding Performance, Outstanding Ensemble, Outstanding Sound Design, etc. Recipients of the awards are announced after the DramaFest and each receive a Festival Award Certificate.
