Behind the Curtain

The BC NTS DramaFest is not the product of any single individual; it is the culmination of decades of shared passion and collaborative effort. Together, our producing team brings together a lifetime of experience spanning secondary school drama classrooms, ABCDE executive boards, and professional film sets.

We are proud of our individual accolades, but when we step into the festival, we check our resumes at the door. Our focus is entirely on the ensemble. We exist to steward the rich legacy of the Association of British Columbia Drama Educators, to bridge the gap between student theatre and the professional world, and to execute the logistical magic that allows students to simply focus on their craft.
